Photos on this sticker were taken from the top of Observation Point in Zion Canyon National Park.

On August 28, 2024, we arrived at the trailhead at 5:15pm MDT and hiked the three miles to the point. We ended up being the only three people there the entire evening, allowing us a quiet view of the canyon in solitude. We ate dinner, drank coffee, raised a toast to the end of our trip, and after darkness settled over the landscape, stargazed, our gazes captured by the near perfect darkness that presented thousands of twinkling dots, with the dense central core of the Milky Way rising directly ahead of us.
