Description
A photographer captures a vista from within the canyon, providing an incredible show of perspective as the canyon walls rise beside them, and the ridgeline falls to the wayside. Taken from the top of Wall Street trail on August 27, 2024 at 7:08am MDT.
Watching sunrise over the canyon is a different experience than capturing that same sunrise in a photo. Sunrise Point certainly allows you to see the Sun cresting the horizon, but the hoodoos become backlit and difficult to capture. The magic lies in photographing the orange walls from a perspective that allows you to face more inward, such as from further down the trail, or off to the side of the canyon (such as my Sunrise and Shadow print). When I saw this person standing down the trail, I knew this was the magic shot that would highlight the true scale of Bryce Canyon.
